Full Stack Engineer

I design and build software systems from the ground up — from infrastructure and APIs to polished interfaces. I care about clean architecture, developer experience, and shipping things that work.
About
I'm a full stack engineer based in Ohio with a passion for building things that matter. My work spans the entire stack: self-hosted infrastructure, backend services, modern frontends, and the automation glue that holds it all together.
I believe in owning your tools, understanding every layer, and writing code that's as readable as it is reliable. When I'm not shipping features, I'm experimenting with homelab setups, 3D printing, or finding new ways to automate the mundane.
What I work with:
- Infrastructure — Linux, Docker, Unraid, Nginx, self-hosted everything
- Backend — Python, Node.js, REST APIs, databases, automation
- Frontend — Modern web frameworks, responsive design, clean UI/UX
- DevOps — CI/CD, monitoring, system administration
- Hardware — 3D printing, homelab builds, IoT
Writing
Thoughts on engineering, self-hosting, and building in the open. New posts coming soon.
Tip
Check back soon — the blog is being set up with tutorials, deep dives, and project write-ups.
Projects
Homelab Infrastructure — A full self-hosted stack running 20+ services including media management, cloud storage, note-taking, and automation — all orchestrated with Docker on Unraid.
AI-Powered Workflows — Custom automation pipelines that use LLMs for email triage, news digestion, research synthesis, and personal productivity.
3D Printing — Designing and printing functional parts, upgrades, and experiments with a Prusa Core One setup.
